
At Rushmere Farm we grow several heritage varieties of wheat, selected for delicious flavour in baking, and suitability for their environment. Unlike most modern wheats they grow fantastically well without any chemical inputs and in an organic farming system that encourages biodiversity. Their roots reach for all the available minerals in the soil and bring those nutrients and that taste into their grains which are milled by our friends at Gilchesters and brought to your table for rich sourdough, scones, and pancakes.
