Butler Country Estates prepares and pin bones the side of trout, then cures the trout with their unique brine ready for hot smoking using an aromatic mix of apple, oak and a little hickory. The result is a gift to the senses: succulent fillets with a golden brown glow encouraging taste with its deep and layered smoky aroma.
These medium sides of whole smoked trout are ideal for entertaining and special treats. The pack can feed between 4 to 5 people depending on size. The packs should be kept refrigerated and use by the best before date. All sides can be frozen and should be used within 3 months of freezing.
